Managed WordPress hosting for Indian organisations
Antarix Grid hosts WordPress websites in India and handles the agreed setup and day-to-day operation. The service includes HTTPS; your website files and database are stored in India. It is intended for company websites, institutions, community organisations and non-profit sites, subject to workload and capacity review.
From an existing website to a hosting proposal
Share your current site address, approximate storage, traffic, plugins and any custom functionality. Tell us whether you need a new installation or help moving an existing site. Do not send passwords or database exports through the public enquiry form; our team will agree a suitable handover route.
Planning a WordPress migration
- Inventory the site. List the theme, plugins, PHP requirements, media size and integrations such as payments, forms and transactional email. Flag any custom code.
- Agree the move. Confirm migration scope, the handover method, backup responsibility, a test address and an acceptable maintenance window before changing DNS.
- Check the copy. Test page links, HTTPS, images, logins, forms and any checkout or scheduled tasks. Confirm how new orders or edits will be reconciled during the switch.
- Plan recovery. Agree who changes DNS, how to roll back if checks fail and when the old hosting can be cancelled. Do not assume a migration will have zero downtime.

How much hosting does a WordPress site need?
A mostly cached information site and a shop with logged-in customers can have very different needs at the same visitor count. Share peak traffic, plugin use, database size and scheduled jobs, not just monthly visits. If you need several sites, list each one and its traffic; site count and resource allocation must be agreed together.
For WooCommerce, memberships or bookings, request a workload review before choosing hosting. Payments, email delivery, dynamic requests and restore requirements need specific checks. A larger VM alone does not establish that those integrations are supported.
Check your website’s connectivity needs
We initially recommend managed WordPress hosting for websites served through a domain over HTTPS. A dedicated public IP, direct public SSH, public database access and a mail server are not included. Tell us about large media uploads, migration imports, long-running tasks and plugins that send email or require a fixed outbound IP, so we can confirm compatibility and limits before you commit.
Additional network access and mail delivery are not automatic inclusions. Read the early-access networking limits and include any special requirements in your enquiry.
Agree the hosting scope
Your proposal should specify site and access limits, the hosting arrangement, WordPress and plugin maintenance, backup frequency and retention, restore responsibility, support coverage and migration or exit arrangements. These details depend on the agreed service; a public enquiry does not reserve hosting capacity.
